Staff will provide to the Fiscal Management Committee a Business Information Systems Update on the Human Capital Management Project.
Representatives of GRS Consulting Staff will provide an overview of on how it goes about making funding estimates for both the Montgomery County Public Schools’ Pension and Other Post-employment Benefits funds. The overview will be presented at “a layperson’s level” to provide Board members with a better understanding of the inputs and assumptions of actuarial valuations, as well as the resulting implications for budgets and financial reporting.
